Hey Rycho Best video editing program for windows is Adobe Premiere 1.5. If you're just looking for some real easy and fast home video editing software I would recommend you Pinnacle Studio 9. In case you have a Mac... get Final Cut Hope this could help you Cheers, Adel

Like Adel said, adobe premiere pro 1.5 is good and easy to start out with. If you want more professional editing, and good effects use Adobe After Effects and invest in some good plugins, such as Trapcodes.

Like Adel said, adobe premiere pro 1.5 is good and easy to start out with Use Premiere 1.5 when you did some basic video editing before... it can be a little overwhelming when you use it the first time. Adobe Premiere is the only "non-linear" video editing tool available for the PC. That means, you can put your clips wherever you want to on the timeline. In other tools, such as Pinnacle Studio 9, the clip "snaps" back to the previous one on the timeline. So consider what you want to produce. If it's just a really simpe video... use an easy tool. For better editing and comfort in general... no way around Adobe Premiere

Use Premiere 1.5 when you did some basic video editing before... it can be a little overwhelming when you use it the first time. Nah, it's not really that hard to start out with. You might have a bit of an advantage with effects if you have experience with key-framing already though. Adobe Premiere is the only "non-linear" video editing tool available for the PC. It is most definatly NOT the only non-linear video editing tool for the PC. I can give you a huge list over other non-linear tools for pc. After Effects, Sony Vegas, Ulead Video Studios I believe, Hell, even Windows Movie Maker is hyper. Just thought I'd tell you
